We rarely have 2 field trips in one month, but I feel it is worth the exception for the two that we have scheduled.  The first is to Hammell Music in Livonia, I have not done this field trip before, but my associates in the GDCNC Teacher's Association assure me it is very worthwhile.  The second is to the Marquis Theatre, on March 22 at 10:30am for "Jack and the Beanstalk".  I have always been pleased with the productions at the Marquis, and I'm sure this year will be no exception.  It is helpful if the children are familiar with the story before the show so we will take time to read different versions and to act it out.  If you have a book or video please share it with us.  A gentle reminder:  the Marquis does not permit children under 3 years old to attend.

I am finalizing plans for the rest of the year so if there are any activities that your child has really enjoyed either this year or last and would like to repeat, please tell me so that we can fit it into our schedule.

Moms & Tots begins Tuesday March 5 from 9:30--10:45 for children 18 months to 3 years.  Word of mouth is our best advertiser.
